Positive About the Disabled

Hi everyone…

Last week Saturday, I have participated in the Charity Walk for Cerebral Palsy conducted by FEA UM. Although I have participated in so many walks but this walk quite special for me. I learnt so many things during this walk. Some things that I have learnt through this walk and the disability people is that I have learnt to be patient, never give up easily and persevere. I was very appreciative of my friends who keep on supporting the cerebral palsy patients throughout this walk.

I learnt no matter what happens, I must always persuade myself to continue on. I really think that this programme is awesome and I enjoyed myself through this activity. Learning the proper way to act and speak around someone with a disability may not be as intuitive as we think. Often times, there are ways to interact with disability people and sometimes the way we choose to interact with may be disrespectful which can cause them annoyed, anger and frustrated. So we must learn the best way to interact and respect these disability people so that they will feel like normal person in the society.
